We offer the following methods to receive your goods:
In-Store Collection: You are always welcome to pop into one of the three stores to collect your order. The stores are located in the Milnerton Squash Club, Durbanville Squash Club, and Elgin Grabouw Country Club. It is always advisable to contact us first to ensure your order is waiting at the store closest to you.
Post Office: This will arrive at your nearest Post Office counter and takes roughly 7-10 working days to arrive, on orders confirmed by 11am (except for weekends). Cost is R90 for a standard order. Once the order is despatched, you receive the tracking details via email, sms or whatsapp.
Postnet: This will arrive at your nearest Postnet in 3-4 working days, on orders confirmed by 11am (except for weekends). Cost is R99. Once the order is despatched, you receive the tracking details via email, sms or whatsapp. This service is not available to certain rural areas. Please contact us if you are concerned about delivery to your location.
Courier: This will arrive at your door via our private couriers within 72-96 hours (except for weekends). Cost is R150. Once the order is despatched, you receive the tracking details via email, sms or whatsapp. This service is not available to certain rural areas. Please contact us if you are concerned about delivery to your location.
All orders are only dispatched once confirmation of payment has been received.
Delivery will be attempted between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, unless otherwise arranged.
Please be aware that we are occasionally required to make additional checks on your payment or address details and this may delay your order.
A signature is required for all deliveries. Please note that we will not leave goods ‘safe’ or ‘hidden’.
If you cannot be present to sign for the delivery, please remember that you can specify an alternative delivery address (eg. office or family member) at the time of ordering. If you are requesting the goods be delivered to your work address, please ensure you include the business name. You may be required to confirm these details and, if so, a member of the company will attempt to contact you by phone or email.
Goods can only be signed for by a neighbour if we receive specific instruction from you authorising us to do so.
We can't be held responsible for delayed orders due to circumstances out of our control (eg. strikes, disasters, etc). When these unforeseen events do occur, we would appreciate your patience and will do everything in our power to ensure your order arrives as soon as possible.
If the delivery attempts of the courier are unsuccessful, you will need to contact the nearest depot and arrange an alternative delivery time with them. They will then hold the goods at this depot for five working days to allow for a further delivery attempt. Should there be no attempt by you to arrange for a further delivery attempt, the order will be returned to us.
Should you wish any further delivery attempts, authorise that goods are left with a neighbour, or change the delivery address once the order has been despatched, please email email@example.com with the order number/consignment reference and the relevant details. Please note that re-direction of consignments and any additional delivery attempts are solely at the discretion of G’s Strings N Things. Authorisation may not always be given and may incur a fee.
